Independence Day Grenade Attack

I called Morelia my home for 9 months and I've sat on those ledges near the large canopy east of the Cathedral hundreds of times. I never thought anything like this could possibly happen in Morelia. Even though I'm back in Canada, this grenade attack on innocent civilians still affects me. It's closer to me than even 9/11, which was extremely terrible, but I had no real connection to it. My thoughts and prayers go out the the family and friends of the injured and the dead.
